Lisa Cameron was born in the small town of Kitchener Ontario, Canada. She attended Hawaii Pacific University on a full dance scholarship while completing her Undergrad Degree in Business Administration. During her tenure at Hawaii Pacific University, Lisa learned the importance of relationships and their influence on business success, a cardinal business lesson that defines Lisa’s entrepreneurial mindset and responsibility to the fashion community. Furthermore, this essence is the foundation and DNA of Styled by Lisa Cameron.
Her time in Hawaii encompassed participation in local marathons, community events, and as the lead designer for dance and school team-wear. After finishing her degree in Hawaii, Lisa moved back to Canada and continued her love for fashion, working for a local dance studio where she was able to teach and continue to re-invent her love for design. While an employee of the studio, Lisa commissioned costumes for her students of all ages. Through this experience Lisa learned the process of creating an idea from scratch by working with local seamstresses to prepare timeless pieces. Lisa’s love for fashion and styling began at an early age. From the start, she was involved in the theatre, dancing, singing and acting. This introduction to the arts was her invitation into the world of fashion.
In 2014, Lisa set her sights on Los Angeles, California, a place where she knew she could pursue her career goals of being a Fashion Stylists as well as attending Fashion Institute of Design and Merchandising. Now an established name in Los Angeles Lisa deploys a team of 3 and manages the needs of 20 plus clients on a daily basis. She continues to work regularly in the US & Canada.
Lisa is an energetic, motivating and creative person with a positive and innovative outlook on life. She feels it is important to build great relationships where trust, support and creativity are always present. Lisa is inspired by the world around her involving culture, music, art and lifestyle to her designs and concepts. Her passion to enhance character’s identities through the portrayed image she has styled for them is a phenomenon she desires for all to experience.
Lisa has built a great client base styling a variety of dancers, actors, actresses, models, child actors, influencers, singers and entertainers. With an experienced background and knowledge in fashion editorials, music videos, travel, personal shopping, image consulting, wardrobe overhauls, lifestyle photo shoots, press, interviews, and events. Lisa can assist all of your creative needs in US or Canada.
